Treats 🍭🌹

My primary focus in creating Offerings Oracle is to help spiritual practitioners divest from western ideals around gift giving and what gifts are “supposed” to be.

Most of the cards feature on offerings that are less tangible and more focused on building intimacy with our Good Spirits.

With that said, sometimes the exact thing our Good Spirits want or need is a little treat! And aren’t we all deserving and in need of treats from time to time??

Thoughtfully selected token, a handcrafted talisman, a fragrant bouquet of flowers, culturally significant candies, or freshly baked cakes are all wonderful treats to set out as offerings.

The trick to this treat is to not select something arbitrarily. It is through building relationship with our Good Spirits that we come to understand their tastes, preferences, and proclivities. By getting to know them well, we learn what types of treats to present to them.

Not all Spirits are interested in material things, but some certainly are and will welcome these considerate gifts with glee.

This decadent card is one of my favorites of the deck. A lovely reminder that we all deserve nice things - yourself and your Spirits included.
