Along with our comprehensive library of offerings, Moonshadows live events are an invaluable resource or our members.

Ask Ava: Pomba Gira spirits are known for their blunt honesty and playful (sometimes a bit harsh when we need it) nature. We all have Pomba Gira who walk with us, and my spirit guide, my Pomba Gira, Ava, began taking consult for her divination services in the Spring of 2022. Kaitlyn and Ava will give answer your yes/no questions through cartomancy and direct channeling. This live event is hosted on Discord, making for a fun, gallery style reading experience.

FUTURECAST is a live spiritual forecast for the three month cycle ahead. The spirit’s discuss offerings, altars, ritual suggestions, energetic themes, helpful prayers, affirmations, and invocations, and special days for psychic or spiritual connection.

Moonshadows Spirit Salon is 90 minute community psychic mediumship salons with Kaitlyn and the Good Spirits. We begin and end with good ceremony. Once the Spirits are invoked, attendees have the opportunity to ask questions of them, receiving helpful guidance and channeled wisdom for the weeks or months ahead.

Spirit Guide Journey: A bi-monthly, gentle trance journey connecting you to your Good Spirits. This gentle and restorative trance journey creates a comfortable container for members to meet with their Guides, and receive the companionship, guidance, wisdom, and even healing they need from their spirits. Followed by reflective journaling time.

Moonshadows Discord Server: A place for community and connection! Moonshadows Discord server is a place where members can discuss their spiritual, occult, magical, and paranormal experiences and receive insight, advice, and support from Kaitlyn as well as the rest of the group.

Watch Party Club: Like a book club, but for magically and mystically inspired television and film. Live watch parties are hosted online, and discussions are had on Discord.

Tarot Support Group: A weekly meetup where members explore a new theme through an original tarot spread. Members pull and divine their own cards, with Kaitlyn’s gentle support. Members leave with guidance, actionable advice, and greater trust in themselves and their intuition.

Community Teach: Classes created by our members for our members. Community Teach is an opportunity for our members to share their ideas and practices with the Moonshadows Community, and build relationships for their own spiritual businesses.

Moonshadows Membership offers sliding scale rates for our monthly membership fees.

The benefits, content, resources, and access is equal for every member, regardless of which membership tier they select.

How do I know which tier to sign up for?

At Mother of Mystics, we believe in building the foundations of our community in abolition - which means we are not here to police your income. We do not require proof of income or eligibility to qualify. We believe in having good faith and trust in our community members.

If you are struggling to determine which tier is appropriate for you, we’ve provided some details and questions to help you make that decision for yourself.

  • from Worts & Cunning Sliding Scale Method:

    “If paying for a class, product, or service would be difficult, but not detrimental, it qualifies as a sacrifice. You might have to cut back on other spending in your life (such as going out to dinner, buying coffee, or a new outfit), but this will not have a long term harmful impact on your life. It is a sacred sacrifice in order to pursue something you are called to do. If, however, paying for a class, product, or service would lead to a harmful impact on your life, such as not being able to put food on the table, pay rent, or pay for your transportation to get to work, then you are dealing with hardship. Folks coming from a space of hardship typically qualify for the lower end of the sliding scale.”

  • This tier is for you if you:

    • have little to no worry about your monthly expenses/needs being met

    • you have savings or you are able to go on vacations/recreational trips more than once per year with little worry about your expenses

    • you have enough income to cover your needs and wants with little to no stress

    • you have economic privilege and/or power in your community

  • This membership tier is for you if:

    • you may be struggling to conquer debt or build savings or move away from paycheck to paycheck living but have access to steady income

    • are not spending most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc.

    • you have access to some savings and/or you are able to go on one vacation/recreational trip per year

    • you have the financial support of a partner, parent, or other person who contributes to your income earned

  • The community aid tier is for you if:

    • you struggle to maintain access to needs such as health care, housing, food, child care, etc

    • you are living paycheck to paycheck and stress about your basic needs being met each month

    AND you identify with any (doesn't have to be all) of the following:

    • Black

    • Indigenous

    • A Racialized/Person of Color

    • Trans* person

    • single parent with no other adult contributing to your household's financial needs

FAQs

  • Moonshadows is open to anyone with a sincere interest in learning more about the occult, mysticism, folk magic, ancestral veneration, and/or Espiritismo. With that said, Moonshadows - like all MoM spaces - centers around the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, and Queer and Trans folks. Magic and mysticism, but no misappropriation.

  • Moonshadows offers monthly and yearly plans. Membership can be canceled easily through your membership dashboard at anytime. If you cancel, and decide you want to return outside of enrollment periods, you can send us an email and we’ll gt you right back in where you left off.

  • Each month, we host one Spirit Salon, one Ask Ava session, and one Watch Party Club meeting. We sprinkle in special workshops and guest lectures throughout the year. We take recess from live events in December, July, and August. It’s all about. balance, lil mystics! The spirit don’t want to hustle and grind 24/7/365, and neither should we!
