GRAPES OF DESIRE
A Channeled Message from my guías, Lily and Cielo
"Sweet Children of Our Good Mother Earth,
Ask not when the Dreams of your Desires, the Fruits of your Labour may be tasted.
Does the vinter ask the vines for the date the grapes will be birthed?
Does the gardener ask the stretching stems, ‘On which day, my darlings, will you bloom?’
No.
Instead, the Steward of the Soil ask their Beloved Plant Partners, ‘What, my darlings, do you need to be abundant? To be happy? To be comfortable? To be well?’
The Steward of the Soil asks themselves, ‘What can I do to protect and nurture my crop?’
The Steward of the Soil asks their mentors and elders, ‘What wisdom can you offer me, so that I may improve the care I offer to my Plant People?’
The Steward of the Soil asks Our Good Mother Earth, ‘Would you please teach me to notice the Signs of the Seasons? How do I better notice the messages you, Our Good Mother, need me to see? How, Good Mother, do I pay better attention to the whispers that travel on the Winds of Change?’
They ask Good Mother Earth to teach them how to interpret these messages with intuition and care, so that they may give their garden the support she needs through every cycle, through each stage of growth.
Does the Steward of the Soil discard the Plant Spirit if they do not fruit in the first season?
No.
The Steward of the Soil understands that some vines and trees - and some dreams - will take many a season to grow mature enough to bare fruit.
They understand that the seasons spent tending to the Plant that Does Not Fruit is not time and energy spent in vain.
Instead they see an investment in the future.
An investment in the beauty and bellies and bounty of those who come next rather than those who are now.
And how do You, my darlings, treat your dreams? Your Seeds of Passion, Pleasure, and Desire?
How do you treat your Spiritual Disciplines? Your Spiritual Gifts? Your Spirits themselves?
Do you give up too quickly when the fruit does not bloom?
Or do you get on your hands and knees and tend to the Sacred Soil of this Blessed Garden Planet?
This Heavenly Earth, gifted so intentionally and divinely to you?
Even a Perfect World requires patience, my darlings.
Even a Perfect World requires commitment, consistency, courage, and labour, my loves.
So what is it that you do, my darlings?
What is it that you will do, my loves?
