WTF Is Trance?!

Have you ever created something with your own two hands, looked down at the finished work, and wondered “where tf did this come from?”

Have you ever taken to the stage, the canvas, or the page, and felt your art flow through you, rather than feeling like you were clawing to grasp at it?

Like your body suddenly just… knows… even if you aren’t fully conscious of what it is your body knows, what it is you are creating together?

That, my lil mystic, is trance.

Often, when engaging with our gifts & purpose, we inadvertently are engaging with trance mediumship.

Trance mediumship is a deep, hypnotic condition in which a medium is controlled by the spirit being channeled. Within Espiritismo, this type of mediumship is known as “mounting” or possession.

If you’ve received a reading (or an exorcism!) from me, you have witnessed the way my spirit guides take over my body, my facial expressions, and my voice, making them entirely their own. Through my physical vessel, the Good Spirits are able to offer spiritual guidance and perform spiritual remediations like limpias and exorcisms.

This mediumship is, of course, is well suited for mediums, diviners, and spiritual healers.

However, IMHO, it’s also well suited to artists, performers, public speakers, spell caster, artisans, cooks, and craftspeople.

If there is something you adore doing, there is a spirit guide with you who adores it, too. A guide who is probably already sending you whispers of inspiration and encouragement as you do whatever it is you love to do. A guide who, through trance mediumship, can assist you in taking your gift to places you may have never dreamed of on your own.

You are already great at what you do. Through partnership with your guide, and the modality of trance mediumship, you become…miraculous.
