Why would I want that?
Have you ever watched an incredible performer, artist, or diviner and wondered…how the fuck did they do that?
IMHO, many of the people who are most prolific at their craft aren’t just doing something, rather, they are channeling someone.
When the spirits speak through my mouth, they share guidance, wisdom, and insight that I could never access on my own. When the spirits move through my body, the perform spiritual remediations, create art, a cast spells that I could never dream up on my own.
One of the most important skills I have been blessed to share with my community is my ability to perform exorcisms. This skill doesn’t come from me, with the guidance of my spirits. This skill comes directly from my spirits. They perform these rites through my body and my voice, while I bare witness to their work. With my guide moving through me, turbulent spirits, energetic attachments, and troubled entities are removed permanently from my afflicted clients.
My guía principal (main spirit guide), Felicita Buenavide, performs impactful limpias (which we have lovingly dubbed “spirit surgery”), by using my body and voice as her own. With my hands, she carefully withdraws unhelpful energies, intrusive thoughts, and even physical ailments from my clients, replacing these misalignments with tenderness, affection, and care.
As a professional medium, there was only so much that I could do in the company of my spirits. And what I could do was incredible!
But when I finally opened myself up to being a trance medium, allowing the spirits to work through my body, everything changed. Response to my work shifted from “thank you” to “how did you do that?” and, eventually, “how can I do that, too?”

I'm Kaitlyn Graña, and I am the Mother of Mystics
I am a 4th generation Espiritista, trance medium, exorcist, and occult educator. I am a facilitator of radical, transformational, and deeply rooted spiritual awakenings.
I didn't go looking for the Spirits - the Spirits found me. Growing up within Espiritismo & folk Catholicism, speaking, dreaming of, and channeling spirits was a very normal and expected part of life. Espiritismo teaches us that we, the living are in constant communion with the dead: for better or for worse.
By building intimate relationships with our Good Spirits, we cultivate an environment of support, inspiration, beauty, and joy.

espiritista, journalist, poet, novelist, and feminist
(Seville, 10 November 1835 – Barcelona, 29 April 1909)
Amalia Domingo Soler is best known for her distinguished contributions to the Spiritist movement in Spain. Domingo Soler was the founder and editor for a weekly Spiritist publication, La Luz del Porvenir. The radical magazine served to represent the feminist branch of Spiritism and Fourierism. After merging La Luz del Porvenir with La Union Espiritista, Domingo Soler served as the editor-in-chief of the new Spiritist magazine, Luz y unión - the official publication of the Kardecian Spiritist Union of Catalonia.
As one of Kaitlyn’s beloved Spirit Guides and trusted teachers, Domingo Soler was channeled in the creation of Oracle Activation. Through her influence, this offering embraces the structure of turn of the century Spiritist mediumship development circles, emphasizes the importance of ethics in these practices, and honors the legacy of the radical Spiritists who took Kardec’s doctrine and applied it’s principles to the belief in an equitable world.

What is Trance Mediumship?
Trance mediumship is a deep, hypnotic condition in which a medium is controlled by the spirit being channeled. Within Espiritismo, this type of mediumship is known as “mounting” or possession.
If you’ve received a reading (or an exorcism!) from me, you have witnessed the way my spirit guides take over my body, my facial expressions, and my voice, making them entirely their own. Through my physical vessel, the Good Spirits are able to offer spiritual guidance and perform spiritual remediations like limpias and exorcisms.
I believe this type of mediumship to be well suited for energetic & spiritual healers, performance artists, witches & spell casters, fine artists, public speakers, cooks, artisans and craftspeople.
Have you ever created something with your own two hands, looked down at the finished work, and wondered “where did this come from?” Often, when engaging with our gifts & purpose, we inadvertently are engaging with trance mediumship.
ORACLE ACTIVATION gives you the tools, tech, and mentorship to create a healthy, reciprocal, and grounded ecosystem for you, your unique gifts, and the Good Spirits who preside over those gifts.

Introduction: The history of the Oracle, throughout culture and region. The importance of personal spiritual care. An overview to trance mediumship and mounting. Developing ethics of practice.
Identification: In your first 1:1, we will begin by identifying the gift of the spirit you wish to expand within this activation. Then, Kaitlyn will lead you on a tender trance journey to meet and familiarize yourself with the Spirit Guide of your Court who is the patron this gift.
Transference: Inviting our Patron Spirits to mount our vessels. In granting our patron spirits permission to enter our bodies, we give them the ability to direct our bodies, minds, and voices. In this exercise, mentees learn how to open themselves to a specific, trusted spirit for mounting, become familiar with the experience of being mounted by said spirit, and safely close the connection once the work is done.
Integration: Integration is essential and required. We can’t always allow the spirits to fill us. It is not sustainable or healthy. Prioritizing caring for the body, mind, soul, and free will of the individual is essential. We do not want to become our guides. We want to maintain our personhood, and create good, healthy boundaries within our mediumship. Every fourth week, we break for rest and recuperation.
Channeling in Community: After growing confident and comfortable with spirit mounting, we will then expand our abilities by channeling messages from the spirits, through our vessels. Mentees will ask questions of their patron guides, and channel the responses themselves through trance mediumship.
Channeling for Community: Mentees progress into trance channeling for others. In these circles, mentees will invite their patron spirits to mount them, and offer readings to one another as Kaitlyn oversees and manages the space.
Gifts to the Portal: A group ritual to seal the activation. Kaitlyn guides the group in a trance journey to meet with our presiding spirits, while mentees take turns making offerings to the violet flame. We close the journey by honoring our presiding spirits, giving thanks, and returning to the present.

Oracle Activation is not an introductory course. This is an advanced level mediumship training. Mentees must have an existing, consistent spiritual foundations, including cleansing, grounding, and protection.
When channeling spirits in community, having disciplined spiritual hygiene is essential for maintaining the integrity, spiritual health, and energetic protection ourselves and of the entire group. Mentees are expected to be on top of their spiritual hygiene throughout the duration of the activation.
Mentees must be willing to do the work! The activation is as potent as your efforts allow it to be.
Mentees are required to attend our live mediumship development circles, hosted on Mondays at 6pm pst. Replays are available to activation participants, however watching the replay is not a substitute for attendance.
While some of this intensive is done on your own, this offering is not self-paced. Please only apply if you feel confident that you are able to invest yourself in participating.
Preference will be given to those who have completed Into the Veil, though it is open to all who meet the requirements.

Oracle Activation is not a course - it’s an immersive group mentorship.
Inspired by the Spiritist mediumship development circles of the turn of the century, this offering requires that mentees show up for our live meetings, and participate.

Whether you identify as a specific type of mystic is not really important to me. What matters is that you have an established spiritual foundation that you are devoted to and disciplined with.

For this particular group mentorship, it is impossible to receive the benefits of the program without attending live.
Attendance is a requirement, as that is how mediumship development circles work.
Because we are developing our mediumship in community, it is important that mentees are able to get to know one another, and build relationships and trust with each other.
If you cannot commit to attending the live development circles, Oracle Activation may not be right for you.

Scholarships are not available for Oracle Activation.
It is a sacred sacrifice to commit to your spiritual development, and elders and teachers should be compensated for the knowledge and experience that grants their students access to ancestrally-rooted spiritual traditions. It is not unusual for spiritual practitioners looking to work under a mentor or initiate into a tradition to ask others for financial support, be it through family members, friends, crowdsourcing, or otherwise.
This mentorship is an investment in your spiritual education and expansion.
With that said, if you do not have access to the financial resources on your own or with the help of community, and paying for Oracle Activation out of pocket would cause you financial hardship, we ask that you do not enroll at this time, and revisit this offering when it makes more sense for you financially.
