It’s about trust
Throughout Oracle Activation, each practitioner will be working closely with one of their spirit guides.
Why not all of them? Why not the entire court of spirits? Why not include the ancestors, too?
Our time together within the program is limited. Building familiarity and trust with someone (whether they are living, or dead), requires a lot of attention. Within the four month time frame, developing the type of intimacy that is needed for this type of mediumship with more than one spirit guide is not a realistic goal.
Being grounded in my approach to mystic concepts and practices is always at the center of my work - and part of that means having attainable goals. I want to set you up for success, not overwhelm.
Trance mediumship - allowing a spirit to enter into your body, and move through you, speak through you, create through you, perform through you - requires a lot of trust. Trust in yourself, trust in your body, trust in your cohort, and trust in your spirit guide. And that Trust doesn’t happen overnight, my lil mystic.
In your opening 1:1 appointment, we will identify the “patron” spirit guide who will walk with you throughout the program. A guide who is attuned to the gifts that are seeking to be expanded during the activation.
During our first month of mediumship development circles, we focus exclusively on building familiarity and trust with that patron spirit guide. What sensations do you notice when your patron guide is near? What do you feel in your body? Where do you feel it? Is that feeling comfortable for you? From there, we can communication with our guides whether or not the way they are confirming their presence (as opposed to the presence of any other spirit) makes us feel safe. We provide feedback to our guides in real time, and give them the opportunity to adjust with us.
Just as your energy and attention is required to build relationship with your patron spirit, you patron spirit’s energy and attention is poured back into you. This is a mutual partnership. A benevolent guide wants you to feel comfortable and safe calling on them, and they are open to receiving your feedback when it comes to this.
After we close the circle, I hold space for your questions, and help students find solutions to any frustrations or hesitations they may be experiencing - not through force or just pushing through - but by genuinely considering every person’s unique needs, the type of spirit they are working with, and tailoring the guidance to make sense to the individual. This work isn’t one size fits all.
In between development circles, you are given tools and exercises to support you in the continued work of cultivating a trusting, reciprocal relationship with your patron spirit, along with direct access to myself and our little community on discord.
Students are then given a week of rest and integration, before we begin the next stage of trance mediumship development.
Even within this limited time frame, Oracle Activation is formatted to give you the space and support you need to feel ready and excited for this work.
