A membership created to excite, enchant, inspire, and support the spiritual seekers, Espiritistas, tarot readers, occult enthusiasts, and the magically and mystically inclined.
Existing in late stage capitalism is hard.
The daily existential dread from climate crisis, compounded with the struggle of trying to pay bills, pay rent, buy groceries, care for our bodies, care for our brains, care for our spirits, our families is, well, a lot.
The systems in place seek to undermine our joy. To prove to us that the pursuit of our pleasure is frivolous, a wild goose chase.
Our prayers, our spirits, on their own, can't dismantle these systems.
But our prayers, our spirits, can show us the ways we CAN experience our joys, our pleasures, our desires - our birth rights as human beings, as stewards of the Garden Planet Earth.
Our guides show us how to care for ourselves, our altars, our families, our communities.
How to nurture our dreams and desires despite the chaos that is going on around us.
Our Guides uplift us, they remind us that our wants and needs, our joys and pleasures ARE worthwhile, that we ARE worthy of experiencing them. And that despite all odds, they will help us make the choices to bring us to our joys, to our destinies.
It doesn't happen overnight. But in those moments along the path, our Good Spirits bless us with HOPE. The bless us with FAITH. They remind us that the goodness we seek is not only possible, but is promised.
And that, my darlings, is why I do the work I do. That is why I connect people with their Guides, with their Spiritual Disciplines. Because no matter what fuckery is going on in the world around us, commitment to our Good Spirits will deliver us unto our blessings.
Moonshadows is a place where you can find connection and communion with your Good Spirits, and community with the living who are also in pursuit of their passions.
Together, we find levity, tenderness, support, and hope.
