Tuition for Into the Veil is offered at a sliding scale. The benefits, content, resources, and access is equal for every student, regardless of which tuition tier they select.
how do I know which tuition tier to sign up for?
At Mother of Mystics, we believe in building the foundations of our community in abolition - which means we are not here to police your income. We do not require proof of income or eligibility to qualify. We believe in having good faith and trust in our community members.
If you are struggling to determine which tier is appropriate for you, we’ve provided some details and questions to help you make that decision for yourself.

It is a sacred sacrifice to commit to your spiritual development, and elders and teachers should be compensated for the knowledge and experience that grants their students access to ancestrally-rooted spiritual traditions. It is not unusual for spiritual practitioners looking to work under a mentor or initiate into a tradition to ask others for financial support, be it through family members, friends, crowdsourcing, or otherwise.
This mentorship is an investment in your spiritual education and expansion.
With that said, if you do not have access to the financial resources on your own or with the help of community, and paying for ITV out of pocket would cause you financial hardship, we ask that you do not enroll at this time, and revisit ITV when it makes more sense for you financially.

This is the full value of the Into the Veil course. At this rate, I am able to cover the operational costs of the course and pay myself a living wage for Los Angeles, the city where I live.
This tier is for you if you:
have little to no worry about your monthly expenses/needs being met
you have savings or you are able to go on vacations/recreational trips more than once per year with little worry about your expenses
you have enough income to cover your needs and wants with little to no stress
you have economic privilege and/or power in your community

This is the price covers the labor and operational costs of facilitating Into the Veil.
This tier is for you if you:
may stress about meeting your basic needs, but still regularly achieve them
may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs
you own or lease a car or can afford to use a car service vs public transportation/walking
you are employed or have consistent income from other avenues
you may have some savings or are able to go on vacations/recreational trips annually or every few years
you have some economic power/privilege in your community

Kind of! Into the Veil is more than a course; it is a group mentorship, a passing of the oral tradition of espiritismo from practitioner to student.
In order to understand Espiritismo, a spiritual science, one must learn the history, theory, guidelines and accepted practices. These things are taught via lecture.
In order to have an Espiritismo praxis, one must put what they have learned into action on their own. We support this in our live monthly labs and in our peer organize study groups. -
No! You need only have an earnest interest, curiosity, and an open heart to receive the benefits of Into the Veil.

All lectures are prerecorded and available on your student dashboard at the first of each month, for you to watch at your convenience.
Live "labs" are held once a month, on the last wednesday of each month. A survey will go out to all students once enrollment closes, so we can confirm timing for labs that suit the majority of our students' schedules.
If you are unable to attend live, you can still receive the full benefits of the program by engaging in course content, participating on Discord, and joining a peer study group. -

Beyond that 24 hours, refunds are not available, and you are responsible for the balance of tuition payments due according to your payment plan schedule.
“I so loved Into the Veil. Getting to be part of that container of people with completely different backgrounds and relationships with spirit was so affirming and eye opening. I was literally vibrating with the energy through the session and afterwards. I LOVED getting to hear everyone's messages and witness how diverse our paths and spirits are. The message I received was validating and still sits with me as I continue to get comfortable with my spirits and my ability to perceive them.
The workshop really helped me to more fully understand the importance of regular cleansing, protection, and grounding. I was a bit familiar before the workshop, but none of the other teachers I'd come across ever explained why those things were vital to spiritual work and developing our connection. Getting so many examples of rituals or practices was great, too, because experimentation is so important to my practices.
