Services and Advocacy for LGBT Elders (SAGE)

Advocacy and services for LGBTQ+ elders, including HearMe, an on-demand mental wellness app, available 24/7, that allows you to text one-on-one with empathetic listeners who are trained in LGBTQ+ and aging issues; and SAGEConnect, a phone-buddy program that matches LGBTQ+ elders with volunteers for weekly phone calls.
SAGEServes

A semi-autonomous division of SAGE, SAGEServes provides care management, direct emergency financial aid for elders in need, affordable elder housing developments, and referrals to additional support services through direct services at five SAGE Centers and care management programs. Limited to LGBTQ+ elders in New York City and New York State, as well as Southern Florida (Miami-Dade County and Fort Lauderdale). Additional restrictions apply depending on program and location.
