Messages from the Moon
"The Moon is your ability to craft illusions tricks of the sight.
Are they tricks is what we observe feels real?
If we are able to receive from what we see? Y
ou are a Magician.
It is time to explore by which depths"
This was a channel that came through the Moon card for a client (who's name I removed for privacy). Isn't it lovely?
The guides that I was channeling are part of the spirit legion I refer to as "the Merlins." They were encouraging the client to pursue their creative, performance related passions.
"Traditionally" the Moon is associated with a time of uncertainty and opacity. "Not everything is as it seems" vibes. It's watery and dreamy and confusing. Reminds me quite a bit of Wonderland. This environment isn't always ideal when you're looking for clear guidance or direct answers.
The Moon is also quite delicious, because it's shadowy, dream-like qualities are excellent for exploring what we are cautious of in the daylight. The Moon makes rooms for us to play with things that perhaps we still hold some shame over ourselves for indulging in. The shadows of the Moon give us the freedom to explore play, pleasure, passion, and magick under the protection of the Spirits of the Night.
I love this poem because it suggests the energy of the Moon, but created intentionally, for the entertainment and experience of others. This energy can be transmuted into performance, into visual art, literature, craft, story telling... the possibilities are as limitless as our imaginations.
I have attached pics of the Moon card from 8 different decks. What feelings do these images evoke for you? How do you approach the energy of the Moon when they present themselves to you?
What feelings does the Moon card evoke from you when you pull it?
