Commitment to Ancestral Veneration

"The World needs human kind to move forward with the assistance of our spirits and guides. The world needs us to move forward with the assistance of the guardians and spirits around us who are divinely aligned. Who are harmonious with the planet and all of the living things that grow from it. The spirits who thirst for justice and equity.

The world needs us to assist in the transformation and repentance and healing of the ancestors who were and are out of alignment and outdated in their understands of life, of love, of humanity. The Spirits are not without our flaws. Which is why it is so important to know which spirits we are working with.

As the interest in ancestral spiritual practices grows, the need for psychic and spiritual discipline grows as well. The necessity for strong spiritual foundations so that we may interact responsibly with whomever await us beyond the veil.

As more and more people call in their ancestors, more pain and suffering becomes unlocked. That is the truth of this work. In opening the doors to the spirits, we open the doors to witnessing many of the atrocities inflicted upon or by the ancestors.

We express this to you, not to frighten you. Not to push you away. We express this to you as we express all things: because truth must come first always.

The history of planet earth, in this timeline, in this dimension, is difficult. It is horrific. It is murderous, villainous, tyrannical, genocidal.

But it is also beautiful. Purposeful. Intentional. Delicate. Graceful. Loving.

For much of history, humanity lived in great communion with the spirits of all living beings. When the understanding of sentience, consciousness, compassion, community were The Way.

We cannot have courage without fear. We cannot have joy without pain. We cannot see the beauty of humankind without seeing the ugliness of humankind as well.

The white supremacy has great strength amongst the living as well as in the realm of spirit. Much of it comes from the way Christianity trains its followers to pray fervently, passionately, consistently and frequently. The fascism, the police state, violent white supremacy and colonialism continue to rise, the prayers of the followers of the oppressive false god pour power into that rise.

We invite the resistance to see the importance of discipline and consistency in prayer and presence. Ancestral veneration is not a photo on the wall or a stone on a table or a candle that remains lit.

Ancestral veneration is a commitment to the spirit world. To the healing of the self through the healing of the past. A commitment to recognizing our roles and our ancestor's roles in how this timeline has played out. A commitment. A promise. A practice.

Not an object or perfect post or a passing moment, but a lifetime.

The way the commitment is expressed, the intensity by which it is demanded, ebbs and flows with the practitioner and their journey.
