New Year, New Me 🌹
Welcome to the new Gregorian Calendar year, darlings!
With the arrival of this New Year, I’m so excited to introduce my new website: www.motherofmystics.com
If you’ve been with me from the inception of my public spiritual practice, you know that I’ve gone through many transformations and rebirths.
There’s always a tinge of guilt or strangeness that I experience when I go through the metamorphosis. Like I should just be content with who I’ve been, that what was should be enough.
But who am I if I disregard my truth? If I do not allow the external me reflect the changing internal me? What is this life if not a series of transformations and rebirths? Do the trees not wilt in the Fall, only to return with fruit and bloom in the Spring? It seems only natural that we allow ourselves the same grace and space to change and grow.
When I launched “KW Tarot” in 2017, I may have been a mother to my own first child, but I was not a Mother to Mystics - not yet, at least.
By honoring the changes in my internal world, my external world changed as well - KW Tarot became Hija del Sol when I realized that I was “just” a tarot reader - but a mystic, a medium.
Coming out as non-binary brought the transition from Hija del Sol to Spirit Garden - a name that honored the many spirits I am of service to at my own altars, the spirits of my clients who I service through our readings.
Through messages directly from my spirits to me, messages my spirits have delivered through my mentors, other practitioners, my clients, and my friends, the Mother of Mystics was born. An identity that I’ve slowly been embracing over the course of 2022, and am leaning fully into now. Mother of Mystics is a role that I have organically grown into by following my heart, tending to my altars, and listening to my spirits. And I am delighted to reintroduce myself to you now.
I'm also really excited to embrace my name! Hija del Sol, Spirit Garden, as lovely as they were, acted as a shroud over my identity. I want to be known as Kaitlyn Graña, Mother of Mystics. I want my Dad's surname, my name, to live on. As I continue to bloom into the person I am becoming, I want my grandparents to be proud to see my name, our name on posters and flyers and (my lips to God's ears) marquees.

Psalm of the Season is coming soon! I have also completed the designs for my new Oracle Deck which is GORGEOUS if I do say so myself. Because these will be self-published, I will likely be doing a Kickstarter to get the funding to complete these projects.

Opening Portals, my beloved 1:1 mentorship program, will be ending when Spring transitions to Summer. It’s been a beautiful experience to work so closely with the 30 alumni of this program since its inception two years ago. I'm looking forward to working with my final Opening Portals group from now through the end of April. While there is always a bit of sadness that comes with closing a door, there is SO MUCH excitement over the door that is opening in its place: ORACLE ACTIVATION.
