Just a Table ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

An untended altar is just a table, my lil mystics.

Something that I find frustrating about New Age spirituality is that we are often instructed to construct altars, engage in rituals, work with tools, without any real understanding of who or what we are devoting ourselves to - and more importantly, why.

How can we understand who or what we are meant to be devoted to in a way that takes into consideration who we are, who we come from, and where on Earth we are living?

I believe it is essential that we must consider who and what we are accountable to in order to understand who and what we are devoting ourselves to.

Accountability creates an anchor for our moral and ethical compass.

Accountability compels us to keep showing up in ways that align with our personal, ancestral, and communal values - especially when giving up feels easier (it often is!)

Accountability cultivates trust - in ourselves, in our intuition, in our Helpful Spirits, in our communities

Discerning our accountability creates the foundation for our personal, ethical spiritual praxis.

In Lesson 1 of Back to Basics, we dig into honoring the commitment of spiritual devotion, discuss who we are accountable to as unique practitioners, and consider the impact and implications of our personal and ancestral relationships to Earth.

In Back to Basics, students receive the tools, technique, and experiential wisdom for returning to an Earth-Honoring Spiritual Path.

Back to Basics is a new, self-paced offering for discovering your Earth-Honoring Spiritual Praxis.
