Patience 🌹

Patience is one of the most important offerings we can make to both our Good Spirits and ourselves.

Setting up the shrine, lighting the candles, repeating the prayers is often the easy part when it comes to working with our Spirits.

Having patience and faith that our requests will be carried out by the Good Spirits is what often proves most challenging.

The Spirits move on their time, not urgent timeline of white supremacy and capitalism.

Often when we put up our petitions, we expect our final goal to be the first outcome.

However, the Spirits typically present us with the steps necessary, the opportunities to say yes to, in order to bring the dream to life.

Have faith that these steps are the process that leads us to our desired outcome.

Have patience with yourself (and your Good Spirits) as you navigate the journey.

This card can also be a reminder that developing your spiritual gifts, developing intimate relationship with your spirits, is something that takes time.

In an Amazon-prime world, it’s easy to think that by setting the altar and deciding we want connection that these things will come instantly.

The truth is that these things, when cultivated in right relationship with the land, the Spirits, and our destinies, take time and patience.

Don’t let this discourage you, though! What we discover through our patience and persistence is the key to receiving the intimacy with the Spirits that we desire. What we discover through patience is that which we would have never had access to if we tried rushing the process.
